Welcome to the website devoted to the song "Rose" by A Perfect Circle.  This site is RAPIDLY changing now, because it will soon also feature other songs, but it'll primarily pretain to Rose. I'll update my theories and beliefs, poetry, and "The Beauty" as quickly as I can, so this page is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Hopefully the end result will kick ass!!
       As a project for band members Maynard James Keenan (vocals, from Tool), Billy Howerdel (worked with Tool, The Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, NIN, and others) who also composes most of the music for APC, Bassist and Violinist Paz Lenchantin, Guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, and drummer John Freese, APC has made it to the top 20 in rock with their songs "Judith", the incredible "3 Libras", and "The Hollow". However, their music is deeper than that in such songs as "Orestes" and especially "Rose". Rose is a song that makes you think, especially about its meaning. It took me a very long time to understand its meaning, but after strongly thinking about the life I endure and its problems, the true meaning of the song came to me, and it's the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced in my whole life. (You can see the lyrics of this amazing song at the Lyrics page.) However, with the song's incredible composition and an ending that leaves you feeling renewed, the song has inspired me to write incredible poetry and has gotten me through extremely depressing times. I explained more about my love for the song in the section entitled "The Beauty". But remember, the page describes what it means to me, it could mean something different to you.
