Hello everyone. We recently lost our rose.shoutweb.net URL so I hope everyone can find the site. If not, well, you wouldn't be reading this right now would you? Today, someone IMed me and said that they were astonished and amazed at what I've wrote here almost a year and a half ago. It was really nostalgic, re-reading all of my stuff. I just wanted to say that obviously from my poetry posted on the site, I was a very depressed person and had a lot of trouble with life and how I felt about myself. Although Rose helped me realize how valuable my life is and how things will get better if you stand up for yourself and don't treat yourself poorly, it did not cure my depression.
Now, however, I have a much better life. Due to my much better life, I don't need Rose to calm me, but it is still my favorite song and A Perfect Circle is still my favorite band. Instead of depressing me like some music does, A Perfect Circle gives me hope for the future, and I think that's what they're all about. I promised you last April that I'd be adding further interpretations of Rose and of other A Perfect Circle songs as well. Unfortunately, I haven't exactly come around to it. With the demise of renholder.com and aperfectcircle.org, no one really knows that my site exists. The only traffic I get related to this topic is numerous people asking me for a copy of the A Perfect Circle font. If you still want it or just want to talk, e-mail me at Jondude11@aol.com or give me an IM at Jondude14.
Now that I'm in 11th grade, I've got a lot of shit going on. Plus, with my much improved life, things have been looking up. All I give is this piece of advice... Things happen in life and things will get you down. People really need to look up from the depths of hell and try to find themselves. I found myself through music, and the power of Rose by A Perfect Circle and other APC songs have really helped me find myself. The Rose site is not about how people should follow me and Rose, but how people should find it in their own, or just something they can confide in, and something better will come along, I promise.
I'm going to try to bring something to this website. A Perfect Circle is still my favorite band, but I don't listen to them as much because I don't need it. I'm not going to say exactly why my life is better because I don't want to get anyone down that doesn't have what I've recently got. It was a gift that I never thought would be real. Anyways... Things are looking up for me and hopefully they will for you to. Use this site as a reference for how my life was and how it is now. Thanks for taking the time to visit, please give me an e-mail. I still love thinking and talking. Hopefully some new poetry will come up once my damn inspiration is replenished. Just let me catch my breath.
